Summer 2023 - the first week of Haileybury International Summer School gets off to a flying start

  

Evening activities bounced along nicely as the Summer School pupils enjoyed Zorbing on the Haileybury pitches this week.




The Kitchen will filled with the delicious aroma of baking this week as the pupils began their gastronomic competition with shortbread.  From bows to butterflies, large and small, the biscuits all tasted delicious.

There was a clear winner on Monday, though, as Tomas took the wooden spoon prize as star baker or the day.

Oxford - A Fountain of Knowledge and Shopping!

On Wednesday our pupils took a tour around the architectural gems of the world-famous university city of Oxford.  Their walking tour took in the sights and secrets of  Britain's oldest seat of learning, lead by a college undergraduate.   Later in the afternoon they had some time to visit Oxford's shops for some retail therapy!
