London Life

The weekend excursion to London included a visit to the Water & Steam Museum where pupils learned the history of water transportation from the Archimedes Wheel to modern pistons. They got into character as they donned the Victorian costumes.

A fabulous STEM trip to The Royal Institution workshop included the pupils extracting their own DNA (petrified in a necklace as a scientific momento);  and  the ABH group travelled to The Cartoon Museum where they were schooled in  producing their very own cartoon strip with the help of Stephen, a master cartoonist.

A balmy afternoon in the Big Smoke included a leisurely walk around the historic sites of the city, followed by a panoramic view from the London Eye.
